Project Details:
For Gameday Drea, I led the creative development and edited a 28-video series commemorating the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. The scale of the “Before the Whistle” was matched by a quick turnaround: I received notice just two days before the first video was due, followed by a continuous production schedule of one original video published to Instagram every day throughout February 2026.
I was tasked with transforming layered historical research and difficult industry conversations into concise, visually compelling stories. Every decision, from narrative structure and pacing to visual direction, editing, and daily delivery was made to position Drea as a serious voice in sports representation. This project reflects the kind of work I do best: taking complex ideas, finding the story that makes people care, and delivering ambitious, high-quality creative under pressure without sacrificing intention.
